Note:
We recommend bringing appropriate waterproof clothing, footwear, and a change of clothes. For courses including night
navigation or coastal passages, thermal layers and suitable personal gear are advised.
Internationally Recognised
Instructor Experience & International Recognition
Our powerboat training is delivered by instructors who are actively involved at the highest levels of the sport, both nationally and internationally. In April 2025, Charlotte travelled to Croatia to become one of just 12 instructors worldwide certified as a UIM Racing Aquabike Instructor. Philip is a UIM Race Commissioner, regularly officiating at world championship events across Europe and Asia, from Sweden to China. Through our ongoing involvement with Powerboat Ireland and Powerboat NI, we are deeply committed to developing the sport at home and putting Ireland on the international powerboat racing map, including hosting a UIM World Championship event at Lough Derg in September 2026.
