Castlegregory sits on the Maharee peninsula dividing two bays,Tralee Bay to the east and Brandon Bay to the west.,creating its own bay on the tip, Scraggane bay. The Maharees (Na Machairí) is a three mile long tombolo of dunes and beaches, jutting out into Tralee Bay, forming a magnificent coastal environment with water on three sides, No matter the weather there’s a beach suitable on the day ! This unique location means visitors can enjoy sheltered waters on one side and bigger Atlantic swells on the other, making it ideal for a wide variety of activities year-round.
