It’s advisable to book online in advance, especially during the summer months and weekends. Some activities, like the Aqua Park and surf lessons, fill up fast. You can book through our website or call us.

Bring your swimwear, towel, and sunscreen. We provide all safety equipment, wetsuits, and life vests. A bottle of water and warm clothes for after your activity are also a good idea.

Absolutely! Most of our guests are first-timers. Our qualified instructors will guide you step by step, making sure you feel safe and confident before hitting the water.

- The Aqua Park is suitable for children aged 8+ (with adult supervision).
- Water Bongo and beach play areas are great for younger kids.

Safety is our top priority. If conditions are unsafe, we’ll contact you to reschedule your booking or arrange a full refund. Luckily, our location between two bays means we can usually find calm water somewhere nearby!

Yes — all our activities include wetsuit and buoyancy aid rental in the price. If you have your own gear, feel free to bring it.

Every instructor at Splashsports is ISA (Irish Sailing Association) and/or Irish Surfing Association certified, with years of experience. Kerry County Council also approves us and are proud members of the IAAT (Ireland’s Association for Adventure Tourism).

Yes — we have free parking available right beside our beach base at Sandy Bay.

Most activities are suitable for ages 8 and up, but some (like kayak rentals or water trampolines) can accommodate younger children with parental supervision. Check individual activity pages for details.

Yes — you can rent surfboards, kayaks, paddleboards, and wetsuits directly from our beach hut. Rentals are available daily in summer and on weekends in the off-season.

Our Aqua Park operates from June to September, while surf lessons, powerboat courses, and the Béal Geal Sauna are available year-round (weather permitting).
